Certified passive house

When building Villa Pernstich, the most important requirement was to keep the annual heating requirement below 15 kWh/m². 

In a passive house, the heat requirement is mainly covered by "passive" sources such as solar radiation and waste heat from people.

In November 2013 our Villa Pernstich was awarded the certificate "quality-tested passive house" by the renowned Passivhaus Dienstleistung GmbH from Darmstadt, Germany.

Sustainability is a matter close to our heart.

That is why we heat our saltwater pool with solar energy plants, water our garden with rainwater and recycle reusable materials. The containers provided for the collection of recyclable materials are also available to our guests.
